So I actually drew this little wheel about a year ago, but in the year since it was originally drawn it has gained surprising political context!

The colors are only red and blue (for example) because that's what I had available at my work desk, but now a whole new meaning has formed around them since the election!

Now the message written and the choice of colors seems purposeful. They seem to mean something and impart a hopeful thought.

I could have kept this knowledge to myself and acted as if the choices were, in fact, made on purpose. Perhaps then you would have thought me a whimsical political commentator. A crusader with a message that means something!

I could have kept this to myself, but truth be told, this isn't the first or only time that this has happened! So perhaps sometimes such fascinating phenomena deserve a mention.

There have been other drawings that I uncovered, recovered, and then posted.. only to find that they had gained more political meaning now than when originally penned. They made more sense here then when I made them before!

It's fascinating to watch things gain more meaning as time passes around and through them.

This makes me wonder about the true nature of reality and the passage of time. It makes me wonder... What if the past and future are really reaching into each other? Informing one another through some cosmic feedback loop we can neither comprehend nor contain...

It's funny the things that get you thinking.
